Co-operative Education Program
TC Energy's Co-operative Education and Internship Program is available to post-secondary students enrolled in an academically accredited co-op or internship program. Positions are available year-round, with work terms ranging from four to 16 months.

Engineer-in-Training Program
Engineering is at the heart of what we do. For new engineers, our specialized Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Program offers a wide range of opportunities to get hands-on experience and build a rewarding career. Our EIT Program offers:
- Job rotation
- Onboarding sessions
- Mentorship
- Networking opportunities
- Technical and workplace skills training
- Professional licensure support
As an EIT, you are considered a full-time TC Energy employee. This means you’re eligible to participate in our Total Rewards package.
EITs are typically hired each September, with additional opportunities available throughout the year.

A win-win partnership for students and employer
Landing a summer job related to their area of interest is not always an easy feat for students – but this year, throw in a pandemic, and locking down a solid summer job became an even bigger struggle. Through our decade-long partnership with Community Futures Treaty Seven (CFT7) – a non-profit organization focused on economic development, training and employment with Treaty 7 First Nations – TC Energy hired two CFT7 summer students who have been working with us this summer. Since 2010, our Indigenous Relations and Talent Acquisition departments have teamed up to support CFT7 on a variety of initiatives, including employment symposiums, a youth advisory committee and as a partner employer in its First Nations Summer Career Placement Program.
