The COVID-19 pandemic has changed nearly every facet of our lives in North America. These drastic changes are scary, challenging and stressful. TC Energy invested $29.3 million investment in a renewable natural gas (RNG) production facility , owned by Lynchburg Renewable Fuels LLC, near the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tenn. The project is being developed by 3 Rivers Energy Partners, LLC, also an owner in Lynchburg Renewable Fuels.

Our U.S. Natural Gas unit partners with local food banks to fight hunger. In this fun creative twist on the game of putt-putt, TC Energy’s U.S. Natural Gas business unit employees and contractors in the Houston, Texas and Charleston, West Virginia offices organized a charity miniature golf tournament to benefit local food banks. The Putt-A-Hole in Hunger campaign had a mission to aid the fight against hunger this summer.

TC Energy and Hyzon have executed an agreement to explore joint co-developing hydrogen hubs in the U.S. and Canada.

TC Energy signed a power purchase agreement for 100 per cent of the offtake — and all future environmental attributes — for the 297 MW Sharp Hills Wind Farm. The wind project is near Sedalia and New Bridgen in Alberta.

TC Energy will purchase 20 megawatts of solar energy at East Strathmore Solar; this agreement means TC Energy receives all rights to the current and future environmental attributes of the project. The solar project is one of the first solar-power-generation facilities in the area east of Calgary, Alberta.
