The projects are a vital link between Appalachian natural gas supplies and growing markets in the U.S. and beyond.
After more than four years of work, the Mountaineer XPress (MXP) project has become the latest of TransCanada’s U.S. natural gas pipeline projects to be placed in-service, with authorization being granted by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission on March 1, 2019.
TransCanada Corporation announced its Leach XPress (LXP) project was placed in-service on January 1, 2018, and that the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued a certificate of public convenience and necessity for its Mountaineer XPress (MXP) and Gulf XPress (GXP) projects on December 29, 2017.
