NKY Gate Enhancement Project

Power icon
A proposed natural Gas project

The proposed NKY Gate Enhancement Project is designed to replace existing natural gas infrastructure originating in the 1950s, in northern Kentucky and southern Ohio. The project aims to enhance system reliability to serve current and future natural gas demand in the region, with completion targeted for Q4 2028. It will require the approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) under Sections 7(c) and 7(b) of the Natural Gas Act.

We have started outreach for the proposed project to allow ample time for community and landowner feedback and intend to submit an application to FERC in 2025 for approval of the replacement project.

Our project will undergo thorough review by FERC and other relevant federal and state agencies. Following our application submission, all landowners and stakeholders will receive further information regarding the FERC process and opportunities for additional engagement.
