TC Energy statement on FERC’S approval of its Virginia Reliability Project

Washington, D.C. – TC Energy released the following statement after the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) approved, with bipartisan support, the Virginia Reliability Project.

“The Virginia Reliability Project will make energy more reliable and contribute to affordable energy prices for residents and businesses in the Hampton Roads region.

The project will create more than 3,500 jobs and generate over $500 million in economic output in a growing and critically important part of the state. That’s why the project has received such strong support from community leaders and organizations throughout the state.
