Media Advisory: Alaska Pipeline Project Hosts In-State Gas Demand Study Technical Conference

ANCHORAGE, ALASKA--(Marketwire - Feb. 2, 2010) - The Alaska Pipeline Project (APP), a joint project of TransCanada Corporation (TSX:TRP) (NYSE:TRP) and ExxonMobil, will host a technical conference to discuss the results of an independent In-State Gas Demand Study, which was prepared by Northern Economics, in association with the Institute of Social and Economic Research, University of Alaska and Science Applications International Corporation. 

The conference will take place on Thursday, February 4, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Anchorage Marriott Hotel. The independent consultants will lead a discussion of their research methodologies and findings. Tony Palmer, TransCanada vice-president, Alaska Development will provide introductory comments and be available to answer questions following the presentation.
